is the suzuki brand a good brand for an instrument?

im an imtermediate - good player, im in yr 9 music excellence ( 13 turning 14) and im wondering if the suzuki brand a good brand for an instrument ? my parents dont want to spend a lot of money on an instrument for me as i may not play after school .

ps i play trumpet and flute and i am looking for both
