I have reviewed it but I am uncertain if it is a scam. I can say, I have only heard good reviews about Eharmony.com however the application process is lengthy and instead of you choosing your potential spouse or date, they choose them based upon your preferences in your profile matched against others on the site.

I'm not sure if I should get a membership or not.
I signed up for one month membership with Christian mingle. At the time of signing up, I made it abundantly clear that I do not wish for my membership to exceed one month period. To declare my intent I unchecked the automatic renewal box. Surprisingly and FRAUDULENTLY they automatically renewed my membership and charged my credit card just because they have the information in their database. I have written to them to reverse the charge to my account, failure of which I shall report them to the department of consumer bureau and commence legal actions in the claims court.Buyers Beware!!!

A quick and easy way to see if a site is a scam:

If it requires a credit card to email someone, then yes, it is a scam site. Report them to the FTC or your country's equivalent office, and most importantly do NOT give them your Credit Card information. These sites are identity theft and credit card fraud rings, nothing more, nothing less.
