Is the Remington Ceramic Pearl Professional 2" Straightener good for my type of hair?

I have really thick curly frizzy hair. I'm getting it thinned out but its really damaged. When i straighten my hair i want it to look reallyy pretty and silky. Is this straightener a good one for me? I put a link to show you what it looks like.
