African countries to develop fast and develop industries because they know from seeing the present rise in oil With India and China buying oil reserves. This will mean more pain on the American consumer?
You may not know this but in the 1970's early 80's Nigeria had a company that was designing and building cars. The US government after been put under pressure from the American car makers put pressure on the Nigerian government to put a stop to the project.
I should really include most of the other nations in Europe and Asia in this as well as they must see the danger in African countries having an economic powerhouse?
Might be the case...but I fear much more logical is that the leaders of African countries are the one to blame...if they advance then so do thier people and then it is harder to keep them concubines to thier leadership...much harder to strong arm an educated fully fed population...and no reason for foreign countries to send aid and fill thier personal coffers...and I must also say that in United States Nigeria (yes I for one have heard of it) is synonamous with "scam".....so most educated Americans trust nothing attached to name Nigeria.
Yea....it goes without saying really. You will alway need people at the bottom of the pile. India & china have affected the UK with their incressed need for oil. The prices at the pumps have gone up. Imagine if africa was also on the industrial band wagon as well. They would be buying nothing from us but exporting loads of goods to us. China imports products to us & takes our scrap. If you think about it it does not look to good for our future in the UK since we make very little.
Theres an important difference between "americans" and "the american government". The american people certainly want to see african countries develop, or they wouldn't send so much money over there in charity.
African countries have not developed because they are too busy fighting amongst themselves. It has always been that way, and always will be. That is why they were conquered by Europeans so easily.
