For example the whole idea of stoning is taken literally and people are actually stoned to death in Muslim countries )so much for the religion of peace). Many other things such as Anti Semitism are found in the Koran. Christian missionaries that try to operate in Muslim countries are threatened with death. Authors or cartoonist who parody the Prophet are threatened with death and mainstream Muslims take to the streets and riot.
Now I am Christian though very interested in the Jewish Religion. My husband is also Christian and is about to be deployed but he really does not have any interest in religion. Once I asked him if he accepts Jesus as his Savior. He says he accepted me as his savior and loves me than he kissed me lol lol. Now there are bad ideas in Christinity too, Like the Spanish Inquisition, but people today do not "burn witches at the stake" anymore. In Europe, the USA, and Canada such conduct is not only illegal but is a serious criminal offense. On the other hand women in Muslim countries are routinely killed.
Now to Judaism. One of my close friends is Orthodox Jewish. I went with her last Saturday to Chabad and we were sitting in the women's section and I was following along the Torah Portion (reading from the Old Testament). It said that a son who drinks and is out of control (incorrigible) should be taken to the gate of the city and with the permission of both parents stoned to death. It also said that a woman who commits adultery could be stoned to death. I asked the Rabbi afterwards if that was done and that I was shocked!! and he said that there are no recorded instances of a man or woman ever beinng stoned to death EVER!!. He said there are too many mitigating circumstances and Jews are too smart (lol lol) to ever follow any of those rules. He joked that maybe G-d had a bad day when he wrote those things down and actually are interpreted to mean something else.
