I just purchased a 1999 Palm One Vx. I realized once I got it that the way to connect it to the computer is by a female-end serial port. My computer is newer so I don't have an male-ended port on my tower. So, I bought a male-ended serial to connect to my female-ended one, and on the other end there is a USB port. I plugged the serial ends together then the USB into my computer, but the computer still don't recognize it.
My brother thinks that the PDA just isn't USB-compatible.
Yes, I downloaded the software drivers for the connector cable I bought, and all of the drivers/software for the PDA. Because this palm product is old, there is no help anywhere for it.
Someone please help me? I just wanted a nice PDA to help me keep my life organized
and now its causing me more stress than I already have. Thanks.
