No the corolla isn't a chick car at all, a ton of guys drive them. If I could afford it, i would drive one. And to the person who said jettas and miatas are girly, they are not! Tons and tons of guys drive them, especially jetta, I own one and I am a guy! Its all your own opinion. Think what you want, its your mind.

Most defiantly. The sport edition isn't really ballsy enough to break free of the chick car moniker. It only makes 158hp. In a compact like that, the sport edition needs to make more than 200hp in order to break free of being a chick car.

However, the Corolla isn't the most chick car out there. A guy could drive it if he wanted to. After all, it isn't a Miata or a Jetta.

uber_hound is mistaken. Most Toyota plants are overseas. The plants that are in the US are primarily assembly, not full blown manufacturing. As for American cars, very few are actually made in Mexico. The cars made in Mexico are ussually for the South and Central American market, not the North American market. One of the Corolla's American counterparts, the Pontiac Vibe, is only made in California. If an American car, for the Amerian market, is made in another country, that country is Canada.

No, its a car for smart people. Toyotas are really well made, reasonably priced, and unlike American cars (made in mexico) Toyotas are mostly made in the United States.

Go for it. Good Car Choice.
