...entitlement or on biology? Seems like a lot of Western women expect men to compete for their affections, try to impress them and pay for their stuff. If it's biological, and you claim that the biological reasons justify the continuation of this status quo, then why should women be regarded as equal to men given that women are not the biological equal of men?
It's convenient for feminists to retreat to this argument when questioned about why women shouldn't be paying for men's ways on dates, asking men out themselves.

Why should the mating process continue to follow outdated social paradigms when the rest of the society is supposedly gender equal?
