Is the N95 Battery Life really that bad?

i would also like to add, that for anyone who has ever owned a Treo 750, that batt life is about the same. Which is bad for the treo, cause the screen is smaller, and has less features.

I looked into getting another battery just incase one day I may need it and my search came across one on ebay just for the heck of it I email the seller about it and this is the response......

"Hello, it is the Nokia OEM Battery for Asian countries. Therefore it may have a little bit different with your original one. Also, the serial code of the battery may not be able to check in your website. That's why we doesnt mention it is an original battery. However we provide 6 months guarantee, so if you do not satify the battery quality after received it, we can provide replacement."

Didnt know that Asian contries had a different battery even tho it says its a BL-5F Battery for Nokia N95, anyone shed some light on this would be great.

Elfguy..... I would agree with you but as Rcadden greatly put you cant expect a phone with all it has to last 3 days if you use it !!! imo

Make sure you update the firmware if at all possible. I charged overnight on Wednesday. Thursday I used the phone for 10-15 minutes of calls, took several pictures, showed off the GPS for a few minutes, uploaded a photo to flickr, played some system rush and snakes, watched some videos, and browsed some photos. I still have not lost any bars and it is 8:30 the next morning! My 6682 was about the same, as I had to charge it about every other day. An I had even fitted it with the extended life battery (the one you have to sand the battery door for it to fit). I've definitely noticed a battery improvement with the update.

I usually don't surf the net or check email on my phone. Use it for phone calls and texting most of the time. The past 3 days I've had the N95, I've never had anything lower than 5 bars remaining on the charge. I've also played with the GPS and internet functionality and that didn't really drain my battery as much. Although, I've only played with those functions about 10-15 mins.
