Is the Mizuno GXC51 a good catchers mitt to use for high school varsity baseball?

I'm going into my second season of varsity baseball and I'm a catcher. Last season I just use d my teammates glove when I caught but I would like to have one of my own and I found a GXC51 on craigs list for around $50, any info would be appreciated.
