I am a 38-year-old female who likes to read men's magazines (including Playboy and Maxim) because they are more interesting than women's magazines. Usually all you see in women's magazines are ways to self-improve yourself. I get tired of it.
Anyway, last night I thought I would try GQ for the first time. I was put off by 75% of it because all they talked about was name-brand fashion and stuff like it; however, the other 25% (which consisted of human interest articles) was great.
However, I got the impression that GQ was mostly geared towards rich male executives, especially those that live in the northeast United States, i.e., New York, New Jersey, Massachussetts (I'm in Oklahoma).
What do you think of GQ?
