...political discourse? There has been a tendency for media houses to invite polarizing figures as guests to their programs. If someone was to step out today and say something that is factually untrue, the next day, you will have he or she on all the cable networks. FOX News Channel is everything but not a news organ. Where are the Tim Russerts? Was that the last Tim Russert that passed away in 2008? Take a look at David Gregory, the current host of "Meet the Press" he is more of a partisan journalist than a citizen journalist. I do request him to study past videos of Tim Russert and see how a journalist plays the role of a citizen by holding elected officials accountable for what they say and do. I must say, I am deeply disappointed with Gregory on how he conducts the program. He has a right to his political affiliation and emotions but that should not impede on his objectivity. Why is the media so full of negativity? Is it about polluting the young minds or what? How did we abandon objectivity, citizenship and accountability for hate speeches, lies and partisanship? Do we need another medium to go after the current media? Please lets rebuild our country by first holding the media men and women accountable.

I agree with you on everything. It's not just FOX news (though they clearly take the cake), but true journalism is DEAD. Sadly.
