Why doesn't any media source focus on the voting records and bills sponsored and co-sponsored by candidates? They seem more interested in reporting drama and gossip. They focus on the big races and nothing is ever said about judges who are running or park board candidates, etc...We are left in the dark about who we are electing. Don't they realize that it's their job to inform the public. Every election I have to go to " league of women voters" and type in my address just to see who is on the ballot then i have to try to figure out what these people stand for. I also have to go to "thomas library of congress" and look up their voting record. I don't really care if someone had an affair or other personal crap. I just want to know their political views...really.
Is the media partially responsible for all this political misinformation?
