Is The LG Neon Good? And Will The LG Xenon Be compatible With Fido (Theyre Both GSM)?

I want to buy the LG neon but i read bad reviews but 2 friends have it and say its great and that there are no delay problems like it says on the reviews (some reviews are good) I need a phone with GSM because im going with fido, i read that the LG Xenon is also with GSM technology so that means it will work with Fido right? sorry for multiple questions
