Is the kin one from verizon a good phone?

Hey I just had an Alias 2 and it is almost about dead. My contract for Verizon still had around 9 months until an upgrade and I need a phone to last me until then and the kin is the cheapest one. I'll mainly be texting, calling people, and occasionally taking pictures. I have pretty big hands too.

Is the kin one a good phone?

Also, Is it good for calling, etc.?

overall, what rating would the kin receive in your opinion?'
