Is the internet a better indication of how a person is like in real life?

then actually meeting them.. If you go on sites youtube, yahoo answers you see the racist feelings people really have, so much racist filth. Yet it is unlikely the same people show the same level of racism when they are met in real life and pretend they aren't prejudiced against others .

Thats why I love the internet because now I know how people are really like.
 
People feel more comfortable unleashing their usually censored thoughts out in the internet because we're anonymous.
And for some people, clearly it's entertaining to them, they may just do things to get a temporary laugh, but out in the real world, they know logically they have to give people a chance to prove/defend/etc etc themselves
