I was at Movie World the other day with my family, and was approached by a lady handing out instant scratchy tickets! I scratched off 3 pots and amazingly, I won a major prize! Either $2000 cash, or a Holiday valued at over $1000 or an LCD TV. Anyway, I wasn't allowed to scratch off the little "void if removed" part or can't claim my prize unless I attend a 90 minute promotion at their office at Broadbeach, on the Gold Coast. They say they are of the "Global Holiday Group" and they did point out that their logo is on the Movie World park map as one of their corporate partners.
It sounds like a hard sell marketing gimic to get people to sign up for some type of holiday club reward thing, but we really aren't interested in that. We only want to know if anyone has come across this recently and if the prize is legitimate and we will in fact end up with a prize!! Also, what is the prize? Is it most likely the holiday or has anyone ever won the other prizes? Because it says that you need to pay a $199 booking fee if you get the holiday prize!
