Is the idea that they themselves are above the Law a Republican core belief?

The notion that they are above the law is one that most Republicans will vehemently deny - until they are caught playing "footsie" in an airport restroom.

All people are capable of acting like that. Republicans don't have a monopoly on such behavior, anymore than anybody else does.

well I'm not a republican but I think that many republicans are just advocating lower taxes and less government involvement, which is overall a good belief. The problem is that that doesn't work in our society.
Yes the Palin / Cheney / Bush ideas are very much that they are above the law

That's just the impression you get for being so wrong for so many years. It's time to quit being wrong and make a right choice by voting for McCain/Palin .

No I think McCain thinks so too. OH! and obviously Palin, too. She's just fittin right in!

It isn't Bush. It's Bush's administration. Really the only thing Bush is responsible of being is a pushover.

When did you stop beating your wife? What kind of ridiculous question is this? It's a canard to keep the attention away from Obama's campaign and his supporters and their dirty tactics e.g. voter fraud and fake campaign contributors.
