Is the idea that humans cause global warming the widest-reaching scam in modern history?

I won't re-hash all the reasons why there is largely ignored but genuine scientific dissent that global warming is caused by human activity, but it certainly appears to be an enormously delusional phenomenon. Could it be the widest-reaching kool-aid slurp in modern human history?
 
You bet. Stupidest idea ever that man can change nature and could correct nature by paying for the extra carbon footprints he used. How dumb is that?
