IS "THE HOST " BY STEPHENIE MEYER A GOOD NOVEL ?

ive read all 4 books of twilight and i thought they were all amazing and i was wondering if the host (thats also written by stephenie meyer) is good and does it have a good ending or not ???(please dont tell me any details about it i just wanna know if its worth reading and if its too scary or not ?????????)
