myth number 1: "i dont want some washington bureaucrat getting between me and my doctor". reality: you already have one, maybe not from washington, but you have one. ever notice those little notices you get after going to the doctor? thats the bureaucrat going over your claim.
myth number 2: "the health care will be rationed!!!!" reality: in NO countries that have 'socialized medicine' is their care rationed. yeah, they cant get chemo therapy for a headache and they cant get a CT scan for a skinned knee, but you dont need it.
myth number 3: "the wait times are horrible!" reality: the wait times in more civilized countries is comparable to the USA: you have to wait until the doctor or surgeon has an opening.
myth number 4: "oh my god, we are going to become SOCIALIST". reality: turn on your tv, we already are. social and corporate welfare (bail outs), and when you add up all of your taxes you pay (fed and state income, SSI and Medicare, sales, property, etc, you already pay 40-45% in taxes. seriously try it.
