and what about a newspaper like
Yorkshire Post

or Burnley express?

are they broadsheets as well

It's the Metro that I pick up on the train on the way to work. It's good for free, but I wouldn't pay for it. Not now anyway. They changed it all and there's more bollocks about celebrities and showbiz that no one gives 2 short shits about. :-)

I'm not quite sure if you are polling us to see what WE read, or if you are wanting to know the difference between a broadsheet and a tabloid newspaper is?
If it's the latter, the words refer to the SIZE of the pages. A broadsheet paper is generally a little over 24 inches tall (the width can range from 24 inches for two pages up to about 36 inches)
A tabloid is about half the size of a broadsheet, 24 inches wide for TWO pages and anywhere from 12 to 17.5 inches tall.
The exact size depends on the size of the roll of paper that it's printed on.
Now, generally most free papers are tabloids in the USA, although I know of any number of free papers that are broadsheets.
