Me and my ex are were very poetic. Our love started INTENSLY and was lived painfully - and ended with alot of manipulation, pain, anger, stalkerishness - to the point my honour as a man is badly hurt - we wronged each other.

I cut her out of my life (for my own sanity) and several nights ago she left a copy of a favourite book on my door with a passage that speaks of loves end but "if our dream be dreamnt once more, let us build a tower in the sky" (or something similar). Inside was a picture of us with her bobby pin.

At first i was furious at the gesture - I lived in misery for 2 months (and still do) - she left me this book as her new bf is oversea's on vacation.

But I love her so, and will always - and am torn on options?

Should i?

1) Not respond - and continue to better myself

OR

2) Leave her a gesture of kindness - i dont believe in burning bridges.

Her new bf will love her far better then I could - and i want her to be happy.
she signed it -

"ill love you forever"
this gesutre makes my heart weep - not for the fact i dont know its over, but for how much this brings conflict back into my life.

inaction hurts, as does action.

the man i was to her, is not the man i know i am
