As McCains poll numbers fall so does the stock market. Are investors pulling out till they know their tax liability's are. 150 billion more from Barney Frank .
Does the stockmarket like Obama's ideas.

I contend the market started dropping when McCain announced Sarah Palin as his running mate. When Sarah Palin started her smear and fear campaign, the markets started tanking even more.

The investors in the stock market know if McCain wins, Palin is one step closer to the Presidency and that makes investors very uneasy.

Palin's smear and fear campaign, shows investors that McCain would rather drive a wedge between Americans which introduces more instability that translate to the market.

A Little. The market perfers McCain over Obama. People who says otherwise don't know what they are taking about. At times like this, with all the risk involved now in the market, people are only taking money out. The only people left are day traders, trading on the Ups and Downs. The market will not recover till long investors put their money back in. And they won't with Obama's plan.

However, it isn't going down because of the presidential candidates, it is because Global markets are tumbling now too. And we are starting to see the effects of Lehman, AIG, etc.

First of all , what you say makes sense. That will cause the Liberals to question you. Once you start taxing capital gains , the market will not recover as quickly because stocks will become less attractive.

I heard one of the pundits say to watch to Aisian markets on election day. If it looks like McCain is going to win, he predicted the markets would rally. If Obama looks like he would win, the markets would likely stay the same or fall.

McCain/Palin 2008

The dropping stock market is affecting McCain's poll numbers, not the other way around.

"It's the ECONOMY, STUPID!"

Ridiculous!!!!!!!

The stock market is dropping because of this whole crap with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mack. Banks can't get loans and they stop trusting each other. Foreclosures are out of control....etc. This has nothing to do with McCain's inability to win this Presidential race. It's his own fault!!!!!!!!

right, with this logic there is a correlation between weather and stock market. getting colder market falls.

of course not! 9 month of job losses and credit crisis are some of the
