about 30 years ago, there was the station wagon. It was considered a birth control car because nobody who drove one would EVER get laid.

People ducked rather than being saw in one.

National Lampoon's Vacation made fun of them. They were horrible.

Now, Dodge comes out with the "Magnum". They give it a tough name and market them as being popular and chick magnets and guys actually buy the modern station wagon.

I guess the underlying question is how could so many people actually fall for a marketing ploy that made a station wagon out to be stylish????
