Is the Dodge Charger a good car?

I want one sooo bad, but everytime I mention getting one, my friends say its horrible. They worked at a a dealorship together for abit and supposedly know these cars. Any owners please give me some info. I want it for speed, the slick look, and a comfortable ride. Is that what I'll get from it?
 
i have had mine for almost 2 years. i have not had any problems with it yet. I love it!!! it has great pick up, very very smooth ride and nice and roomy and comfortable inside! obviously getting the bigger engine than what i have would be even better. i have a the special edition that they made for 08, i believe its a 3.5 L. thats just enough power for me though!! i am debating whether or not to put money into getting nice wheels.
