is the dodge charger a good car for a 16 year old?

I would pay for it, except my parents would help me with a slight amount for down payment, and my parents don't want me in an old car because they aren't as safe as newer cars, so please don't give me the BS of "learn the value of the dollar and get a shit car", because they are pretty dangerous for kids...
