IS the cell phone the Sidekick a good idea to get?

I'm looking for a good cell phone to get, I'm with T-Mobile, what phones would you suggest? I've been eying the Sidekick, so do you think it's a good phone? Is it worth it to buy one? I don't really want to spend a ton of money on a phone I'm going to hate, so what do you think?
