Is the BowFlex Revolution Tax deductible?

Am in Law Enforcement and this can be considered something I use for work, as in stay in shape for my duties.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
No, that's considered personal.

You can stay in shape without buying expensive equipment. The fact that you choose to buy it for your own convenience is your personal choice.

Now - if your employer required you to have that equipment at home, then it would be deductible.
 
If the doctor prescribes it for health reasons and you qualify to itemize your deductions then yes. Just as a means of keeping healthy, no.
