I am new to the industry, and recently started at a really nice New Car dealership in Toronto. We have barely any Ups, and I don't see how I can even make my draw here. I spend my whole day phoning/prospecting people and nobody seems to be buying. The sales staff all seem to be doing poorly, with the exception of a couple of veterans working off mostly referrals.
I am considering looking for a job at a different dealership, as I need to make $3500-4000/month to pay our bills, and am currently making minimum wage not covering my draw.
We get less than 5 Ups a day on Weekdays and Saturdays I am sure we get less than a dozen Ups.
Like I said, I'm new to the industry - is it this slow for everyone? Or should I at least be able to make my minimums with the floor traffic???
