I've had the same bank account for 20 years. Last year I asked my bank to add another person to my account. So what they did is, they cancelled my old account and set up a new one with the new names in it.
My question is, did I lose my 20 years antiquity with that bank? do banks make a note that the new account is actually an old one? does it even matter to them how old your account is? should it matter to me?
