Is the Acura TL a good running vehicle to buy? even if it has quiet a few miles on it?

I am interested in getting a 2004-2005 Acura TL($15-$17,000. though i have looked at it`s brother the CL. The reviews that i read on the CL all together have not been the greatest, I guess that is why Acura discontinued the vehicle. I like the look of the TL. The other vehicles that i have check out is the Volvo, and the Cadillac. The Volvo S60 is nice but i really would like to get it older sister the 2009 S80 but the 8-cyl engine instead of the V-6. but i decided to wait on that one, it is out of my price range.And so far as to the Cadillac i love the STS but i plan to get that one brand-new also, I have checked out the pre-owed DTS which i know i can afford but it is just a little too much room for me. I am a person that does not care about a car title`s as being know for it reliability i get bored with a car with in a good four years.so the thing about the Acura lasting me 155year longer than a Cadillac doesn`t apply to me. I grew up with Cadillacs all my life and everyone in my family either has or has had one with no problems, except one of my aunts, and it was with the discontinued Catera.Now when i read up on the TL alot of people say that it is a great car, but almost everyone says that it Rattles when you drive it for some reason. is this true? this weekend i plan to go and test drive one, i like the way it looks, and also if i get one over 50,000 miles on it would that be okay also? please tell me your thougts on the Acura TL
 
The TL is a nice car and you should definitely check it out. Remember, there is a lot more TLs on the road than what has been reported, so the rattling thing may not be true for the majority. For the most part, it should still be pretty reliable if you get something that has 50K miles (you still have to maintain it...)

Try to get the one with the lowest mileage that is still in your price range. Start from low and go higher (i'm talking about mileage)
 
Jeez man. I'd rather buy a NEW car with that much money. A scion tc or honda civc or nissan altima.
