or even read about the candidates? Is there a minimum qualification we should put on ourselves before going to the polls?

Ruth, we don't even make people prove that they're citizens! That would be discriminatory.

Voting is a unique privilege and people should do enough research to know why they are voting for one candidate or another. Just pulling a lever does not make a person honorable.

I don;t think there should be knowledge qualifications but at the same time I really don;t understand how anyone could vote without knowing where each candidate stood on the issues.

Eh- this is America. We let everyone who can prove they're a citizen vote. And that gets the Democrats screaming enough.

No, you can still talk to family or friends if your not sure how to educate yourself on the candidates!

seems they should, but i think its enough that if they moved 28 days before the election and their card isn't up to date then they can't.
