I'm not talking about love, which I know is much more, but the act of sex in and of itself -- is there any other purpose besides reproduction. I used to think it was a way to show love for a wife, and of course, love needs to be there, now I know that. There's other more affectionate ways to show your love, though, like doing generous things for your spouse, etc. What are your opinions on this?
Is the act of sex anything more than reproduction?
