Is the 3G plan for Verizon worth it?

I was thinking about getting the new Motorla Devour but I'm just not sure if it's worth paying 30 dollars for every month. So should I just get it? Cus the apps seem really cool and useful. And also, could I be able to use the data/internet wherever I'm at?

List some cons/pros please.
