is the 2010 stolen stereo bmx bike good for a beginner?

i am about 5' 7" and i just started getting into bmxing, i have an old haro bike but it is very heavy so i was looking for a new one. i dont plan on doing any major tricks on it, so is this a good bike for me? thanks
