Is the 2.2 (froyo) update available in the U.S. for htc wildfire?

Specifically: Using an unlocked, unbranded, htc wildfire, gsm version, A3333, G8, on centennial wireless that is about to switch over to verizon wireless in southwest la. I would like to know if anyone has got this update and are running 2.2 on htc wildfire in the U.S. without any major issues.
