Is the 1995 Buick Road-Master a flashy car?

Wait...what?

Hi Guys

I will be able to drive in a few months and I was looking at used cars based on the things I wanted.
The Road Master fell into this list because it is fairly safe, modern, structurally sound, gets above 20 mpg, and cheap to buy. I showed the car to my mom and she said is a fine car to have as long as I pay for parking (we live in an apartment). My grandmother on the other hand says the BRM is an extremely flashy car and I will get carjacked at gun point if I get one and I should get something smaller. My only problem with getting a smaller car is this: http://www.youtube.com/watchv=TBNiQWTZ6pk : because I don't want to die. Now I do know that the BMR comes with the same engine as the Corvette but Gm tuned down and governed the power of the engine because of the BMR wheels.

(Now before any trolls go off topic and say "Oh the Road Master is to big for a first time driver" I have successfully driven and parked my mom's Navigator L many times before so if I can drive that I can drive almost anything)

The problem basically is, is that my mom and grandmother will help me pay for insurance on the car until I can pick up the slack myself and if she doesn't like the car then she wont help pay.
