I know that the 10.5 already has a mounting rail on the barrel, but I'm wondering if the top strap is drilled and tapped like the it is on the 8 3/8 version. The reason I'm asking is because it looks pretty painful to have the scope mounted on the barrel of such a large gun instead of being mounted on top of the frame.
Please pardon me for my amateur knowledge of gun terminology. I shot the 10.5 this Saturday and I love it, but I never bothered to check if it was drilled and tapped. (I prefer scopes because I have poor eyesight)
