is stem cell moral or immoral? why?

stem cell research is moral because it saves lives. even if we use our stem cells and it may seem immoral. but if you look at the bigger picture it can do wonderful things.
 
A stem cell merely IS, no morality associated with it. Now if you actually mean stem cell research, there are various types. The only one in question of "morality" is embryonic stem cell research since the embryos in question could have, might have been one day a living person. Fact is, most embryos used in embryonic stem cell research would have been destroyed anyway by their rightful "owners" -- the man and woman who created them. Thus, why have them go to waste? Isn't that a worse moral question than to utilize them in a way that could potentially cure chronic and/or terminal illnesses??
