I was traviling in Mexico and my phone got stolen along with all my document. I was more worried about getting my new documents in order and I did not report my stolen phone. When I got back to US I saw that my bill was huge (above $1k) !!! There was a bunch of calls from Mexico. I call to Sprint support to ask if the international roaming was enabled by default and they told me that I have to activate it before making any international call. I ask if they have a registry of any international roaming in my line and they didn't have any. Then, they told me that sometimes the device can pick-up service from intenational towers.
Does any one know if there is any policy about international roaming activated by default I can use to not to pay the huge bill?
