I ordered a Sprint phone/plan from LetsTalk.com and they needed to verify my identity to make sure nobody was just using my info, etc. They asked me to fax/email a copy of my drivers license, social security card, utility bill, and anything else that would help prove my identity. If i dont fax it to them, the rep said I could email it to his work email (it's @letstalk.com, so it's through the company, not his personal email). IS THIS SAFE?
Is Sprint allowed to ask for ur SSN when verifying your identity?
