okay i have a 92 nissan which i am in love with. my mom had it first but she doesnt car about cars as much as i do lol. i want to paint her black but i dont want spend bookoo dollars at a shop. my boyfriend and his friends are honda heads and they just sand theirs down and what not and use spray cans or the gun. is that the same thing. i mean their cars look good but im anal about my car. i dont want her to look horrible. she body is going to hell and i just want to fix her up a bit. IM NOT GETTING A NEW CAR so please dont offer that opinion. she has no power steering and i find it so much easier to drive without it (except when pulling out of a parking spot) i will not get rid of her til she craps out on me.
so is spray painting it going to look good?
im not doing it, my boyfriend is. and i know to sand it and prime it. and im not doing flat black. ew .. i just want to know if its gonna look good. my bf spray painted his rims and put clear coat on it. they have been holding up for months now and they look manufactured this way. is a different kind of paint or are rims just easier to hold up than the body?
no damage. i just dont like the red.
my uncle is a drag races and he painted his car with yellow spray cans. it looks like he took it to a shop....
