Corporate logo's and catch phrases too, are precisely defined by design teams and psychologists to reflect certain perceived values in the human mind that are not necessarily related to the products or services that that corporation is concerned with.
Often these 'designed' symbols prey on the weaknesses of a gender or race or age category in order to gain a sale of a product.
In my opinion this is an unethical sales technique however it is hard to combat since the majority of people have already been conditioned by the corporations to accept whatever they serve up.. it will take a generation to break that cycle but that will be too late for most of the world's natural resources to recover.
It would be better if investors could see past the spin of logo's and paperwork sales blurb and actually care about where they invest, because long term investments in sustainable industries that support natural eco systems will shape a far healthier future for everyone.
