I have a male betta named Master khan and I have been keeping him in the same container that I bought him in and I have been feeding him Bettamin tropical medley which he eats but, whenever I put a small pinch of food he will eat only one little flake and then let the rest sink to the bottom and ignore it. How Do I get him to eat more all the food? somebody tell me before the container gets really dirty.

hope you are changing his water and i would put him in a little larger container.being as he is the only fish he eats what he wants and you may be overfeeding.Just feed smaller amounts. That old food will get the bowl to smelling.

they only eat 1-3 small pepels.he is fine mine did that two but now he is filled with 2 pepels,

its probably a tiny container...u should up his tank size...or check the temp. of the water, they like it in the higher 70's...most poeple dont care about bettas, they just buy them throw them ina tiny bowl and leave them alone...

First of all, that small container-like cup you got him in is way too small. Go out and buy a tank that is 2 gallons or more, but not less, and invest on a filter, and some decorations, and a heater. It will cost a bit, but trust me, if you expect your Betta to live in that small cup, he won't live long.

Also, about the food thing, their stomachs are only as big as their eye. Don't over-feed him, only give him that one flake everyday.
