Is skimboarding a good sport?

it's awesome. i dont have a awesome skimboaard but im looking to buy and if you get one, it makes the sport even better. IT's so cool just to glide along the sand on a flat beach. its also cool when you start to jump waves and stuff. I dont live by a beach, but when i go its all i do.
