S sailortinkitty New member Jul 22, 2009 #2 It is an Expansion Pack. You need The Sims 2 I would suggest you get The Sims 2: Deluxe or The Sims 2: Double Deluxe. They are the full version but they include a couple Expansion Packs.

S sanam New member Jul 22, 2009 #3 If it says Sims 2, it's an expansion off of the base game. You can still use your old save files and have the new features in them too.
