My goat isn't due for 2 weeks but she is showing early signs of stage 1 labor. vulva swollen, pawing/ sniffing bedding, not eating AS much but still eating, she is laying down A LOT more to but not getting up circling and then lying down again. Is their anything else i should looks for? and she is also VERY affectionate. she is paying much attention to her sides but she is also loosing her winter coat so i think that is some of it. she will rub up and down the walls to, and i think that she is getting the kids into position. she also has "dropped" her kid area (where the kids are). will she be getting mucus soon? her udders have bagged up but not a lot. she will not let me touch her udders though. she has lost her ligaments and i don't think her vulva is doing anything. what should i look for? i put a baby monitor out there so what should i be ready to hear? if you have any good websites that would be wonderful and i will let you know how she does. thanks
