is sharp pains in the lower abs. a sign of pregnancy?

I think i MAY be pregnant...i have missed my period, but came up with a negative pregnancy test...i've been feeling like i'm about to start my period but havnt..lately i've been having constant pains to the left and right of my belly button, is this anything to do with a pregnancy?
