Is sex allowed in the army?

I talked to people in the army, and they said they had sex in iraq with prostitutes?
is this against army regulations.
it says on the go army, website that sex is not allowed with people of different rank.
what about people of the same rank, and what about with prostitutes when on temporary leave?
 
well, you have to be a virgin to enlist in the army.
but once you pass basic training you can have sex with anyone including prostitutes and other soldiers (men)
